Gamepads
PlayStation gamepad
Windows doesn't treat a PlayStation gamepad as an Xbox one, so some games need help from Steam or DS4Windows.
Connecting
Connect with a cable or over Bluetooth. To pair, hold these buttons until the light bar blinks:
- DualShock 4: Share and PS.
- DualSense: Create and PS.
Then on the PC: Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Add device → Bluetooth.
The game supports PlayStation itself
Sony ports and many newer games understand PlayStation gamepads directly. Everything works right away, with the right button icons.
Through Steam
In Steam, open Settings → Controller and turn on PlayStation support. Steam hands the gamepad to the game as an Xbox pad.
Works in Steam games. You can add other games via Games → Add a Non-Steam Game and launch them through Steam.
Through DS4Windows
For games outside Steam. It creates a virtual Xbox gamepad through the ViGEmBus driver, the same one Rulik uses. If Rulik Server already installed the driver, you don't need to install it again.
